New battery icon with percentage inside not legible!

The old One UI 6 had battery percentage in the top right hand corner.
The new One UI 7 has a battery icon containing battery percentage inside, but unfortunately, this new design is NOT legible.

Can Samsung scrap the battery icon altogether, and go back to displaying only the battery percentage like One UI 6 for greater legibility?
