Galaxy SMy new S25 ultra phone does not appear to have the NFC reader on it to enable tap to pay although Samsung says it definitely should be there. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Galaxy S1. Turn on NFC:
* Go to Settings > Connections > NFC and contactless payments
2. Set your default payment app:
* Still under NFC settings, tap Default wallet app and choose Samsung Wallet (or Google Wallet)
3. Check your card
* Make sure your card is added (and activated) in the wallet app. New devices may require manual validation (even if successfully transferred over via cloud)
4. Tap the right spot:
* When paying, align the reader with the center-rear of your phone
5. Remove your case (if thick):
* Some cases may block the signal
If all else fails, check (and install) Wallet App updates and/or pop into a Samsung Store (or service center) to check it:

Galaxy SAlso, there's s diagnostic tool in the Members App that can test if NFC is functional on the device, under the Support tab.

Galaxy SSelect the app, you plan to use most for purchases, as the Default for tap-and-pay (e.g., Samsung Wallet, Google Wallet, or your bank app).
Then, open your Bank app and enable tap-to-pay in the "Manage Card" or "Card Settings" section.
You need to repeat setup on Smart Watch.
