Hi. It seems that the auto restart function under battery and device care has been removed. Who knows how to schedule this again... cannot find in Modes and Routines..

the option of setting the auto restart has been removed and was turned to only "restart when needed"

I had the same question. Looks like scheduled restart is no longer available.

It looks like Samsung replaced that feature with a new, ironically less convenient one. The scheduled auto-restart would restart the phone at our own convenience, like, Saturday at 4:00 a.m. The new feature, mostly doesn't work unless the phone "thinks" its needed, which could be on a work night, i.e Monday, Wednesday, etc., and then you lose your alarms and wake up late because Samsung requires you to unlock your phone after a restart to start Android system. How convenient. 🤔

This is one of the dumbest decisions by samsung. I love the feature as it was. Infact, the only reason I had even noticed was because my phone felt sluggish and i checked the lazt restart (this was in feb) and it hD not auto restarted since november. Despite the "new and improved" feature being enabled. What garbage.

i think samsung wants our phones to NOT last long so we all go buy new ones. this is a deliberate way to slow down the phones. the feature is working really well to all our benefits.

i've recently sent an error report and got a reply that there is no issue. even though in diagnostic it clearly fails the power restart status

Hello Samsung, please restore the daily Auto restart feature please. My LG and Huawei phone's offer this feature. It's a bummer to switch to this Samsung and not have the option. Daily restarts solves alot of mobile issues
