Hi All,
I'm trying to limit my notifications that my Casio Smart watch shows, however, One UI 7 only allows notifications to be either on or off.
I've tested the Casio App on my Google Pixel as well and I can change the notification permissions for the Casio App to limit notifications app by app.
It seems like Samsung are missing some notification settings other Android devices have.
Does anyone know how to enable this on One UI 7?
On the Pixel, the settings are called "Notification Read, Reply and Control".
I seem to recall previously having this ability some years ago on Samsung, however, my S24 Ultra hasn't had it for a while.
Thanks!

Hi. Can you try the below? Apologies if you have tried this already.

1. Long press on the Casio app icon
2. Tap on the i
3. Tap on notifications
4. Tap on notification categories

This menu should have more options.

Let us know how you go.

Thanks for the response.

I've checked and categories isn't the same as toggling all the individual app permissions per app.

Would be nice if there is a hidden menu or way to reinstate these features.

What happens if you tap on notifications? Does it turn off notifications or does it give you more options?

Oh, that's no good. Can you read this post on Reddit and the comments?

Sorry if this is already known, I couldn't find it, not even on YouTube everyone seems to think notifications are an ALL or Nothing thing. That's not the case, I just did a deep dive on this and found a way to control which apps notify the Move app, which in turn sends Bluetooth notifications to the watch.

You have to do it from the Android device deep in Android's OS settings.

Settings > Notifications > Privacy > Notification read, reply and control > Under allowed click on MOVE app > See all apps (change settings for each app that sends notification > Apps shown on device -- here is a list of EVERY SINGLE APP AND SYSTEM APP that by default gets sent to MOVE and then thus to your GBD200, just uncheck EVERYTHING except the apps you want to notify you.

I don't use the move app, it's the Casio Watch App and settings don't appear in that app on Samsung but appear in the app for Pixel.....

Seems like a common issue for Samsung...
Last post in that Reddit was for Samsung s25 that couldn't see permission but the OP did the screen shots on pixel...
