Back in **October 2024**, Samsung publicly apologized for performance and quality backlogs that had affected customers, promising to take **proactive steps** to improve future updates. Despite this, the **Galaxy S24 series** is now experiencing update delays, and Samsung has remained silent on the issue. Given their commitment to **seven years of software support**, timely updates should be expected—yet there's no official statement explaining the delay. Meanwhile, the **Galaxy S25 series**, running **One UI 7**, appears to be functioning smoothly without major bugs. Why is the S25 receiving timely updates while other premium devices, like the S24 Plus, are left waiting? This raises concerns—could Samsung be prioritizing newer models to encourage upgrades rather than ensuring consistent support for all high-end devices? I purchased my phone not only for its features but also for the perks that come with such a premium price. Yet, despite these concerns, Samsung has failed to **officially address the update delays**. Transparency is key, and customers deserve clear communication regarding software support and expected improvements.
If you don't like delayed or neglected updates never get a Samsung tablet. These devices are the last to get anything if they ever get anything. I've been a Tab S Ultra user since the 8 series. Now on the Tab S10 ultra. I even have all the keyboard and cases 😅
Is there an official announcement from Samsung stating the specific start and end dates of the rollout in the Philippines? If it says it is to be started but will not end yet, when I get the S24U, whatever its features during that time, that's why I bought it. The upgrades are already a plus and secondary priority since there is a new model just out in the market.
