Following the update from One UI 7.0 to One UI 8.0, a notable alteration has been observed in the dimensions of app icons and grid spacing. Specifically, despite maintaining a 7x7 home screen app grid, the spacing between apps has increased substantially. Furthermore, the size of widgets has also been augmented, and customization options for these adjustments are currently unavailable. We kindly request a resolution to this matter, specifically addressing the default size increases implemented during the major update. Given the existing functionality to adjust sizes to user preference, we propose reverting the default dimensions of home screen app icons and widgets to their previous, smaller settings.

you can try install Good Lock > install Home Up > use home and app screens layout > DIY Home on your home screen to fix space between widget and icon

Yeah, I did that. I still think the app icons size is a little big but the app grid spacing is much better. Thanks!

I already did that. My problem is I still find the app icons' and widgets' default size bigger than One UI 7.0. Thanks for the suggestion tho!
