Thanks Samsung Malaysia for inviting me to visit Samsung SES store and review the latest Galaxy S21FE. I have the opportunity to visit the Samsung SES store which located at Paradigm Mall, Johor. A SES specialist named Azhar attended me that day and we had the great time there. He is very kind and helpful.
What is actually FE ? FE = Fan Edition. Galaxy S21 FE has nearly everything in Galaxy S21 and the price is cheaper a bit than Galaxy S21. We can have the flagship experience with affordable price. There are four colour choices (white , graphite , olive , lavender) for Galaxy S21 FE. For me , I would choose lavender this time . I always choose white / graphite for my previous phone as these colour looks classy and elegant. However , I would like my phone to be unique this time. How about you? Which colour you will choose?

Design and Display
Galaxy S21FE launched with polycarbonate plastic back. The plastic back is more durable but doesn't looks classy if compared with glass back. S21FE uses plastic material around the rear cameras where S21, S21+ and S21Ultra are using the metal material.
S21FE has 6.4 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X (2,340 × 1080 resolution) , 120Hz refresh rate (not an adaptive refresh rate) and 240Hz Touch Sampling Rate. We will have super smooth scrolling experience in both work and play. The display comes with Gorrilla Glass Victus protection and AI-based blue light control. It weighs 177 grams and the body is IP68 rated water and dust resistance. However, this device is not advised for beach or pool use.
Performance
In Malaysia , we have Exynos 2100 variant of the Galaxy 21FE. The chipset is same with other phones in S21series. Here come to the question : Exynos or Snapdragon chipset ? Which one you prefer ? There are 2 RAM and storage configurations 8GB + 128 GB and 8GB + 256 GB. There is no micro SD slot in the phone . If you need more space , i think you should go for the 256GB variant. I will choose 256GB variant as i take many photos and videos.
The phone is power enough for the gaming , multi-tasking and entertainment . There is no significant lagging or freezing . It support 5G and WiFi 6 also . However , if you want to experience the 5G service, you have to wait at the moment because Samsung devices are not support on DNB's 5G network. But no worry, i think it won't be take a long time .
Software
Galaxy S21FE runs on Android 12 with One UI 4 . Many Samsung users are waiting Android 12 + One UI 4 update for their phone. Galaxy S21FE launch with it ! So , no need to wait . How nice ! Samsung has promised three years of Android updates to all flagships last times. So, that means it will get update till Android 15. If your devices will not get the Android update anymore , you can consider to buy a new galaxy devices . Galaxy S21FE will be a good choice for you.
Cameras
There are 3 rear cameras, 12MP dual-pixel AF camera (OIS) , 12 MP ultra wide angle camera and 8MP telephoto camera ( 3x optical zoom , 30x space zoom ) . Front camera is a 32 MP selfie camera.

There are many modes in the Galaxy S21FE camera. For those who like Vlogging , dual recording and portrait video will help you a lot. I like them so much !
Battery
Galaxy S21 FE has a 4500 mAh battery . It offers 25W fast wired charging , 15W wireless charging and 4.5W reverse wireless charging. However , charger are not included in the box . So, you have to buy it by your own . A full charge took around 75 minutes. If you are a light user , it did well enough in everyday use.
