S20+ White Screen/Green Screen Problem

My phone has recently experienced a White Screen on October 28, 2021 as I was normally using my phone. I had to soft reset the device multiple times before luckily it went back to normal. Two weeks have gone by and occasionally I would still get the white screen but it goes back to normal after awhile. On November 10 just 1 day after the new software update my phone completely went into a white screen again and has not recovered since. I went to the nearest Support Center and they've told me that it's already for LCD replacement with the quoted pricing. I inquired on the reasons as to how it might have become "broken" and they said that it's due to the phone being pressured or being dropped. I find this odd as I use my phone as every person would and my phone is protected with a protective case made to avoid what has happened. My phone is in good condition and there are no dents and even scratches.

Thanks for replying :) good for you free lang nila na replace, mine is Korean version na Snapdragon so I guess bayad talaga sa replacement. Thanks again for the help. Stay safe!

As of last night, I had two units of S20 Ultras that got the white screen issues. Called the CS hotline was told it cost me around 300 plus excluding consultation charges of 32 plus.

Both phones should be out of warranty and was out the same time last night around 9 pm. Both phones are dearly taken care of with one as a daily driver and another as a spare for just browsing. Disappointed by the standard of the S20 Ultras. 

I have a third unit which is brand new which was purchased with the spare unit. I dare not switch it on as it might get the same issue since it was bought at the same time.

Samsung, you need to provide the consumers a fair answer to this.

I got my unit last March 2020 during the pre-order for Smart and it is mint condition. Last July 3, I woke up with my phone having the white/green screen. It would go away after a couple restarts but will keep recurring again. I am surprised as it seems to be a common problem among users. The phone is still shut right now and would have flickering green and white screen. I haven’t gotten any prompt of a software update. My phone still says it is up to date which is weird.

Worst phone and worst response from Samsung.

Same happened to my phone S20 plus. All of sudden,  it went to white screen.

Manufacturing defects, Boycott Samsung..

Very very dissapointed.

i have used Samsung S7, S8, S10, S10 Note.

S20 makes me frustated.

 

I changed to OPPO Reno10 Pro+

 

Bye bye Samsung.
