S21 messenger and text notification issues

Anyone experiencing intermittent sound issues with texts and messenger? Ph has been sent to the service centre twice and issue not resolved.  Samsung haven't been supportive

Hi @channel01, is it specifically notification sounds or are all sounds cutting out? 

1. For sound issues, I suggest checking your speaker diagnostics:

Samsung Members > Get Help > Diagnostics > View test > Choose device issue.

2. For notification issues, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the Messenger app. 

Tap and hold app icon > Uninstall

Have been through the above on multiple occasions. No sound at all on occasion with text and messenger.

I suggest sending an error report via the Samsung Members app for this to be investigated. Error reports are sent to our team to identify any deviations in your device performance, once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further. 

Note: We recommend sending these within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring to increase the likelihood of the report capturing the issue. 

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

Multiple error reports sent and ph sent to the repair centre twice still not rectified and no one from Samsung has assisted with the issue. Will never purchase another Samsung product again because the customer service is absolutely appalling. No resolution offered, no support from anyone.
