S21 plus just got a faint pink line issue on the screen after update.

My s21 plus suddenly got a faint pink line on the screen after update. I see some programs in place for free screen replacement with regards to this issue, anyone from the s21 line up had any luck getting a free screen replacement?

Mine also isn't resolved. The moment you reply to him straight away he will mark your post as resolved so there's not much progress to it and maybe he hits some KPI/SLA something like that. Very tricky guy.

Has samsung reached out to you? They reached out to me via a call and just took down the details, asked for pictures of my phone to be whatsapp-ed to them etc. After that they are missing till now.

No, they have yet to reach out to me. How long did it take for them to reach out to you?

Upon seeing my post being flagged as resolved, I immediately texted to ask for true status to be reflected. Yet to get a reply.

About 3 to 4 days.

They just reached out today.

Update:
Samsung offered me a fix for an LCD replacement that'll have a 30 day warranty only on the LCD with a cost charge of the technician fee of $54.50. They mentioned that if the technician had found any other defects, those charges would be separate. My phone is in Pristine condition so it's okay. I took up the offer as of now.

Yes, this is weird. My comments that my phone is as good as new (except for the pink line on screen) seems to be gone from your thread.

I was also commenting that I'm hoping they will get back with something nice for me when they do.

For some reason each time I comment or reply my messages also keeps going missing. I am using the website now instead of the samsung members app to see if the issue persists. Very weird indeed. Did samsung management reach out to you after you responded to nantakkumar?

Hi Nantakkumar. I faced problems for two phones after update. My S21 got a vertical pink line on the screen. And my S22 ultra stuck in the bootloop. It keeps rebooting and after showing the login screen, patern or fingerprint will take long time to show. After entering, the touch screen's response is very slow. It will restart again in a few minutes. The phone cannot be shut down.
Please help.
