S22+ green line screen after 6.0 OS upgrade in apr 2024

I'm at Singapore, the phone upgraded OS to v6.0 on 16 Apr 2024. One deep green vertical line appeared after that. The guy in SG service center asked me to pay for $303 screen replacement fee by myself today. It's absurd and so disappointing. How Samsung could hurt customer's rights and loyalty like this? ...

I have come to realise that Samsung has no intention to deal with the green line issues in Singapore. They keep sending different people to just reply but never answer my questions.

The only way to protest is to stop buying Samsung. My new YV will be Hisense and my next phone will be Honor.

Samsung, you will go down in history just like the fate of another Nokia. I will ban all Samsung products in my household.

i have the same issue too, S21 FE, last software update on 8 May and yesterday 11 May, the line started appearing.  service center just told me it is due to hardware problem and had to pay $260.  Please let me know if we can consolidate the complaints to CASE.  i have only heard this lines appearing on Samsung phones.

I'm facing the same issue on my S21 FE as well. Did an OS update a few days ago. While I was scrolling tiktok, the line suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Hi All
My friend Samsung S21 phone also have Same green line issue after update on 25th April. There should be something for surely could be done.

Did anyone try to go to consumer court for this ? As many many people faced this issue. If many will complain surely people may look into it.

Another way is to report for Mothership and may be they highlight this issue at bigger scale

my previous s20+ and now  s22+ also encounters the same green line problem, be it software or hardware problem, I will never buy samsung hp again.

Hi, I just got the green line on my z fold 3. Any solution to date? This is rubbish. Obviously, is a Samsung hardware issue, and I have to pay for the repair?
