Hi,

I was reading lots of delays happening in EU and US for S22 series custom colour orders.
Is that also happening for Australian orders?

My timeline so far:

Friday 22 July - Ordered S22+ Violet
Order page says "Your customised Galaxy S22+ requires special production. Delivery may take 3-4 weeks"

Wednesday 27 July
I got email "Your Galaxy S22+ is being made. Please allow up to 6 weeks for it to arrive. You will receive an email notification when it arrives."

Based on the latest update, my phone will be delivered by 7th September. Double from what estimated when I made the order.

Generally what I do is just order a stock factory colour that is readily available, then wrap it in a 3rd party skin. Not only can you usually get the colour you want anyway, but the 3rd party skin also ads as a shield to protect the back of your phone from scratches. Dbrand sells such skins. Anyway food for thought next time you order a device.

Thanks for your suggestion.

One of the reason I go with custom colour was because they're offering free Samsung Care+ with custom colour (at the same price as normal colour).

I didn't think the estimated 3-4 weeks would blew up to 6-7 weeks (maybe more) delays

Hi @OzBestDeal, thank you for sharing your feedback. Are you able to share screenshots of the messaging that states 3-4 weeks and 6-7 weeks so that I may raise this internally?

Thanks @OzBestDeal, appreciate the screenshots. I have escalated this internally to be looked into by our website team and will be back in touch to let you know of the correct date.

At the current stage, please be aware that there may be delivery delays due to logistical issues.

No status update, and no estimation when delivery going to occur.
Order tracking has stopped progressing for 2 weeks now.
3 more days left to hit 4 weeks mark since the order date, but I doubt I will receive anything in this 3 days. No delay notification or progress update received.

Hi @OzBestDeal, could you send through an email with your order number and details (name, phone number, delivery address) so that I can look further into this?

Our team confirmed that the 6 week time frame is correct as it accounts for production + delivery times.
