I got my S22 Ultra on Friday, and since then I have not been able to sync workout or sleep data from my Galaxy Watch Active 2.  I have tried restarting both devices, uninstalling and reinstalling the samsung health app on both devices, and have reset the watch and reconnected it multiple times.

I saw in the international samsung community boards that others are having the same issue, but I wasn't able to post there. Anyone local having problems with watch sync on S22 Ultra?

Hi, I'm having that similar issue. All of a sudden, I'm unable to synch my watch 3 health data to samsung health monitor apps on S22 ultra. It did not happen to my Note 20 ultra.

Hi @lisas1, that's strange. As you've already mentioned the troubleshooting steps I would recommend, my next suggestion would be to send through an error report for this to be investigated.

To send an error report for a wearable, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Galaxy Wearables app > click on the device desired on the side menu
  2. In the side menu, tap Contact us > Error reports (in the Get help section)
  3. Fill in details and the frequency of the issue that you have with the wearable.
  4. Click send.

Thanks SamsungLaura - I am wondering if the wearable is the right spot to report the issue? This seems to be an S22 Ultra issue; I have since tried connecting my watch back to my Note 8 (which I have been using consistently and without issue for the past 18 months) and it worked fine. I should also mention it is hard to force sync on the Ultra, and the watch does not connect smoothly. When I first connect it, every time it would say it was connected but the watch would not register, and i had to restart both devices for it to connect. I had no such issues reconnecting to the Note 8.

It's not just the S22 Ultra. I have the exact same problem with my Active 2 and an S22+. Watch has been reset three times already, Samsung Health and the Health monitor have been uninstalled numerous times from the phone. The only time the watch syncs is immediately after reinstalling Samsung health on the phone. It will never sync a second time without an uninstall/reinstall. No suggestions made here or anywhere else have solved the problem. The watch has worked perfectly with Samsung health for two years on an S10+. I've never regretted a Samsung upgrade until now. Reading the boards and the web at large, it's clear the problem is pretty widespread on all S22 models. Highly disappointing!

Our daughter is having the same issue with her Galaxy 2 watch syncing to her phone. Started disconnecting often from her phone several weeks ago then finally failed to sync at all no matter what steps we took. My husband just took it to the AT&T store and was told AT&T quit supporting the 3G network as of 1-1-2022. The Galaxy 2 watch is 3G, so they told him we'd have to upgrade her watch to a 3 or higher for it to work. They also said the 2 watch will only work on Bluetooth or WiFi but no number sync. For what it's worth. He's going to call AT&T tech support to verify.
