Hi. Does anyone having weak mobile signals and signal keeps dropping since the first day of using S22 Ultra? I have tried the SIM card on other device, it gets way better signal. My phone also keeps connecting from 5G to 4G randomly and it's annoying. It could be a software bug or hardware problem. I am a Samsung loyal user since the S2. SAMSUNG STOP IGNORING US AND FIX IT!

UPDATE: Switching SIM card from SIM 1 to SIM 2 Slot, temporarily solves the network signal dropping problem.

You are right my phone have also intermittent signal issue and I hate this, the customer support just said to reset all, I did and nothing happened. I want to get is fixed or return back because it is disappointed and rubbish that cannot be expected from such an expensive cell.

The problem is still there after 3 updates. Very poor or no connection at all in remote areas, while cheap phones VIVO or Oppo have no problem at all.

Tried changing and swapping sims with a phone that has no connection issues. It is not the sim card. I did all the recommended operations advised in this thread without any improvement.

This is very upsetting for a flagship product at this price level.

Had shockingly poor signal on my S22 Ultra since day one. I gave my son my old Oneplus 8 Pro and whenever we're out anywhere he's sat net to me with full 5G (both on EE) streaming iplayer or something and im struggling with enough signal to receive a WhatsApp message or search Google. I hope Samsung sort this out, currently regretting not waiting for the Oneplus 10 Pro.

We have two S22 Ultra's. Both are unlocked devices purchased from Samsung. Currently using on AT&T network. We also have two iPhone 13 ProMax devices, which are carrier locked from AT&T.

Huge difference when on the road. Navigation voice is perfect with the IPhone. Our S22 Ultra's are horrible. The voice cuts out constantly when navigating. Half of the sentences the Google Assistant is speaking cut out.

We've done network resets, hard resets on both phones, deleted and reinstalled apps, and checked all Google and AT&T settings. AT&T has run their tests, and everything is good on their end. They simply tell us that unlocked devices are not "optimized for the AT&T network", whatever that means.

Nobody has a solution yet. Maybe a carrier locked device next time? We think it's the phones.

Bought 2 Samsung S22 Ultras a few weeks ago and have noticed considerably poor network connectivity both on mobile network and WiFi on Both phones. My partner uses one and I have the other, coming from an A52 and an iPhone X. Incredibly disappointed in these phones, I haven't bought a new phone in many years and finally decided it was time to splash out. $4000 on 2 phones that drop out of reception and cut in an out when talking. What is Samsung doing to rectify this issue? I haven't been able to find anything from Samsung to say they recognise there is an issue and they are working on a solution. Seems they are just turning a blind eye

Had the s22ultra for about 2 months now, awaful awful signal problems, little or no service even in major city centres.

O2 my service provider absolutely no use what so ever. The phone is faulty ive tried everything. Samsung need to do something about this as lots of users affected. Pull your finger out!!!

Is there any actual fix for this? Seems like a lot of people are having this issue. Tried all the resets and safe mode still the same, also software is fully updated. Using a 4 year old phone has better reception than this to be honest. SAMSUNG can this be fix via software update? Or is this hardware issue?

I also find the reception weak on my s22+ in the US... I have $300 oneplus nord 10 as better reception than a $1000 s22+ , trying to get away from Chinese devices, since they can't be trusted in the CCP.

I have till 9/8/2022 to return it, I'm hoping Samsung will create an fix before then, I like everything about it so far except the weak reception, if no update then I'll return it.  Go figure...my first Samsung. Let's go Brandon.

My S22 ultra updated today.

My reception is terrible. Telstra 5g plan

The phone won't switch networks from 5g to 4 g or 3g it is horribly slow on 5g . So much of the time I have no signal at all. Swapped the sim card into my old note. Perfect.

So much poor feedback on this phone and reception issues . Today I can't get any reception as even this feedback is done on WiFi.

Can't believe the lack of support for such an expensive piece of equipment.

Samsung,  please you know there is a problem.  How about you fix it

Experiencing the same issues as the guy above, thought this may be fixed in an update but it's not. Also in the Telstra network.

Such a shame, I've used nearly every Note series phone and never had an issue like this. No problems on my Note8
