S23+ green line issue

Hi po! Just updated my phone to One UI 7.0 tapos right before updating it biglang may lumabas na green line, I still continued updating it kahit may lumabas na na green line and hoping mawala. Pero I think hardware issue siya and not a simple software glitch. My phone is only 2yrs old. Hindi ko rin po sya nahulog or what. What are the possible solution for this? Will samsung provide free screen replacement like sa Samsung India who are giving screen replacement for this issue? Thank you po!

no, as far as i know there's no free screen replacement, you have to pay. The only solution is replace the screen,

"only 2 years old", 2 years is minimum years needed before disaster come, and sorry green line happened to your beloved S23+

Thank you for this! I never had an issue like this with my galaxy S8 before. 5 years syang phone ko before upgrading to s23+. I'm afraid that if I upgrade to s25 it will be the same issue again. I hope samsung can resolve this hardware problem because this is not even a simple software glitch. Thank you po ulit for answering my post.

this green line issue started from S20 series or up, so S10 or older such as S8 or S9 never had this, so i don't get surprise about your S8

so after i did a little research, i am pretty sure green line issue will start to show after 2 years or more of usage (2,5 years or 3 years)

so yea S25 Series might be 2027 when they show starting this annoying issue

the only best solution if you upgrade to any S25 series, you have to trade in your S25 to S26, same goes S26 trade in to S27 etc, green line issue can't be fixed except replace the screen

Hi! I have a S10 base model, 6 years of service and it got the green, pink & white lines. By late 2022, I seldomly use it cz I got my S22 base variant. So I only use it for Gcash & Maya transactions bcz I have a sari2 store. Partida wala pa yun network kasi wala akong sim na nilagay. Then, early 2025 I think, Out of nowhere the green line started to show up.

Same. Very very inalagaan. Pero nagka green line pa rin. I read somewhere na it's bcz the connectors inside the screen gets worn out.

So, ayun. My S22 base variant have one green line. After 3 years of service. Hindi pa nga nakaabot ng 3 years kasi Nov 2022 ko to nabili.

I switched to other brand just testing the waters if it got the same issue but some say it's an OLED issue. Even the rivals use the samsung made OLEDs. So, ayun wala pa rin tayong kawala unless we try to settle down on TFTs hahaha iknow, masakit sa mata. Or meron pa bang gumagamit ng TFTs ngayon? Ano pang ibang screen na mas downgrade sa OLED? Hindi ko na rin alam. Anyways, ayun. Nairita ako sa green line as some one like me na hilig magbasa sa reddit, quora, masakit talaga sya sa mata. How much more kung marami nang green lines, which is truly enevitable. Hay naku.

Ask q lng qng nka 120hertz k b sir/mam?nka on b mga setting like AOD,.nka vivid or standard mode?..nagdownload k b ng walang interruption?.

Motion smoothness na gamit ko po ay 60 Hz or standard. Ever since nabili ko na phone kase naka-power saving mode ako. Tapos yung screen mode ko ay vivid. No interruptions naman po sa pagdodownload ko ng mga apps. At hindi rin naka-on yung AOD ko.

Right before mag-update po ako lumabas na po yung green line. Feeling ko din uminit yung phone ko. Pero I think Samsung should be held accountable dito sa hardware issue nila. We pay so much for it and expect it na medyo mahaba sana life span ng screens nila pero the reality is na-cocompromise na po yung quality. 🥲 Not even sure na rin if tactics ba nila to for us to upgrade or just test some other brands nalang.

Isa din kz dahilan is ung quality ng screen,lalo qng super Amoled screen or Dynamic Amoled.masyado sensitive,kaya kapag nlaglag,nabasa or kapag umiinit.nssunog sa line flex nila..halos hindi lng samsung ngkkaproblema jn.
