I've been a Samsung Ultra/Note user for 10 years, and I think it's disgusting that you are restricting features on the S23/24 Ultras. Both are more than capable of doing far more than you are allowing with One UI7. It's hard to see this as anything more than a money grab. Along with the expected charge for AI at the end of the year. Considering what we pay for the Ultras I would expect to be treated better. Samsung, if you're listening, don't cheap out and treat your highend customers so poorly. There are plenty of other phones out there for us to choose from, and if you don't show loyalty to your customers, don't expect us to show you any.

💯, Samsung's 4th class treatment of Australia and then customers with either last year's (S24 Ultra) or year's before ( S23Ultra) flagship phone and the 🐌 roll-out of One Ui 7 has me seriously looking at other OEM's ( eg One Plus 13) and will consider ditching everything Samsung ( including smartwatch)

I don't know what deals Samsung and Apple made with the local carriers, but other OEMs are adversely effected by the 5g shutdown.

So Australians need to pay extra to be treated as *** by the most cultists companies.

In favour of 5g volte coverage. You are right.

But a lot of 4g volte capable phones were shutdown because of the whitelisting process set by the carriers with no transparency or 3rd party testing. My Xiaomi 14 for example.

Oh mine was blacklisted by Telstra and optus - Artificially. Their claim was it can't make 000 calls on 4g volte. Mine wasn't the only device. Many other Xiaomi, oneplus, oppo, Sony was blocked. Even the new OnePlus 13 was blocked for a while. It was never about device capabilities or specifications.

Not unlike the current delay for updates.
