Hello! I have read and seen multiple reddit posts regarding S24 Ultra screen having grain/jeans pattern and would like to check for those who already received their unit here in Ph if it is also present and how many of you have it? I have preodered mine and still waiting as it will be shipped 3-10 days after Feb 19. For those looking in to check if it is present in their S24 displays, just grab a dark gray pic or vid and lower down your brightness and check if there is a grainy or jean-like texture. I have checked my S10+ and tab s8 ultra and did not notice anything. You can also search online or in reddit sub for S24 Ultra to see what I am talking about.

This will raise awareness on the severity of the issue as I am also very anxious and hoping not to receive a unit with a defective display.

Was yours replaced within the 7 day period?? I got mine last March 1 then noticed the grainy screen yesterday (March 21, 2023) planning on getting my device replaced sana.

Looks like this one is a screenshot. Might shed some light on other community members if you can snap a photo instead?

I believe that all initial units are actually affected. If you're aware of the issue, then you'll probably notice it otherwise not. I have filed an error report already (Members App >Support > Errors)

Within 2 months, I'll claim a warranty if it's actually a hw issue and no updates received.

I'll then contest to extend my Samsung Care+

I still have my trusty Note10+ with me with no issue like that

I do hope that a software update will fix it to save you the trouble of having it replaced, although I think it is the other issue which is the "washed-out" colors that will be fixed with the update. I am also hoping that the Titanium Blue that I ordered is under a different batch but it likely won't be. I'll cross the bridge when I get there.

Again, I appreciate you sharing this, and I hope others will share their experience, too.

Wait what do u mean 2 months? Isn't the warranty replacement only for 7 days? Talked to a samsung rep. Told me to get it replaced asap.

In reddit, there has been reports that even phones manufactured 3rd week of Jan had the same issue. No way you would get a new "fixed" batch even if you replace it now

But the replacement period is only 7 days in PH right? How will u get it replaced in 2 months?

I can't find a fine print for the replacement of 7 days. However i have sent an email to samsung support now for my issue to be "counted within 5 days of receiving the goods". That way I could contest that I have an issue that has been reported. If they say that it's already past replacement then the DTI email will come in handy.

Nevertheless, i still have a 1 year warranty and samsung care+ for 6 months then I'll use those options in the future if no fixes will arise

Talked to a rep, they have no idea how the 1 yr warranty works for hardware issues. Or how they will fix it. If they'll open the unit.. u get ur waterproofing gone. So rep told me to get it replaced asap. Rep also told me to screenshot our convo so incase the service center rejects.. so I have proof daw. Honestly, just get it replaced. I expect the best on a 85k phone. Saw some posts on reddit that manufactured date dec 13 & 14 doesn't have the issue. Soooo hoping 🤞 🤞 i get lucky on the next unit.
