S24 Ultra Flopship

As a galaxy user, I can't call this S24 ultra a flagship for now, maybe flopship. Having this grainy/sandy display cause by mura effect and camera app bug, switching from 1x to 3x/5x is wack but don't get me wrong, I love using this device for photography. This grainy issue on display is the same issue that happened to steam deck and iPhone 15 pro max which is also using samsung display. I went to samsung service center in Megamall and man, customer service of samsung is worst than PLDT! Even the head engineer, he can't even tell that the grains on a display is a hardware issue and he just said it is normal and they don't want to give a technical report for replacement. I don't know if Samsung Philippines accepted a nursing graduate and assigned them to technical department or software/hardware engineer. 

These problems of s24 series is now reported by several media in the US and I hope these can be fix via software update.

Have you heard about the upcoming major update for s24 series concerning display, camera, battery issues among others. I guess you're not aware. Even a few days after unpacking samsung already says not to watch review videos until such time the big update was released. We will be getting this hopefully by last week of feb. Just be patient and find out the difference after the update.

I've already read Samsung latest statement about the upcoming update and it won't fix the grain issue. Have you heard the mura effect on oled display which cause grainy issue that happened to steam deck? It's the same issue. It can be fix by gpu tuning but they didn't mentioned it on the upcoming software update. If you're not aware, this is a hardware issue. First batch of s24 ultra that was manufactured in vietnam has this display issue and in the US they started to replace every single s24 ultra that has grainy display.

So why samsung refuses to replace your unit if that is the case? Alot of yt videos shows that grainy issue.

Because here in the Philippines they still acknowledge this issue as "normal" 🤣

That should be a global issue not isolated in philipiines and besides is that not covered with samsung care?

Yep! Unless the screen starts to get some dead pixel. Tech department of samsung in megamall lacks knowledge when it comes to display. Remember some of iPhone 15 pro max has also this issue before, and their display is also from samsung. PowerMac replaced those units that has grainy display. Apple prioritize consumer concerns while Samsung prioritize sales to compete with Apple. 🤷
I'm a fan of Galaxy smartphones but Samsung customer service and Techs pissed me off 😂

They're lucky for those who not upgraded to S24U from the S23U
For me and luckily, not planning to upgrade to S24P from my S23P
I think S24U is more flopship than the S23U

I know. I hope they fix this freaking display. I don't mind the washed out colors cause I always use natural screen mode but the grainy display awful.
