Dear community, I am using an S25 Plus.

I would like to ask about your experiences with the S25 series.

When I shake my phone, I hear a sound from the camera. My questions are:

1. Does this sound come from the camera lens stabilizer?
2. If not, is it normal to hear a sound from the camera?

Yes, the sound you're hearing is most likely from the camera lens stabilizer. Many modern smartphones, including the Samsung S25 Plus, have Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which uses a floating lens mechanism. When the phone is shaken, the stabilizer moves slightly, causing a clicking or rattling sound.

This is completely normal and happens in many flagship phones with OIS. However, if you notice any issues with camera performance, such as blurry images or focus problems, it might be worth checking with Samsung support just to be sure.

Hi!

Yes, any device that has OIS (optical image stabilization) will produce a ticking sound when shaken. This is due to the physical build of the stablizer and is not a defect.

We suggest not to shake your device unnecessarily, as hard impacts/vibrations can cause damage to the moving parts inside the phone.

Hope this helps!
