Hey Marco93,

Phones tend to heat up due to overuse, battery strain, direct heat due to the environment, or an overworked CPU.

No matter what Galaxy device you use, all of them will have a set temperature range where they operate at their best. The hotter it gets, the worse its performance will get. However, this can be avoided by properly managing your phone's resources, especially if you're a heavy user.

Here are some tips:

- Avoid filling up your memory - regularly delete or back up massive files such as videos and RAW images.
- Make sure to close apps when you use them. Some apps continue to run in the background even after you press the home button. Removing background apps will reduce the load on your phone's processor, letting it cool down a bit.
- When you want to save battery, turn on Power Saving mode, especially if you won't be touching your phone much for a period of time.
- A snappy, fast screen is great - but can be terrible for your battery and heat management, especially if used for long periods of time. Try reducing your refresh rate to 60Hz to save on battery and reduce heat.
- Turn off adaptive brightness to avoid having the screen to full brightness all the time, especially in bright areas. It can be more economical to set it yourself, but results may vary.
- Wipe your cache partition. This can help speed up your device and remove unnecessary files that are causing bottlenecks.

Heat will always be an issue when using your device, but with these tips, you can better manage the heat and keep your device healthy for years to come :)
