Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Overheating During Video Call

• S21 Ultra Overheat
• S21 Ultra Screen Refresh Rate Lowered in Games

I just bought my new S21 Ultra (Exynos) 4 months ago, but its performance is quite disappointing! The phone constantly get overheated during any kind of video call (Messenger, Wechat, Instagram video call etc). The overheat situation happened after few minutes of video call (normally after 3 to 5 minutes, it will get warm and after 5 to 7 minutes it will become extremely hot until I couldn't hold it) I hope Samsung can take this case seriously because I found that there are many S21 series users were complaining the same issue.

Moreover, the phone's refresh rate keep getting lower when I was playing games such as PUBG. It makes me feel difficult to play the game due to lagging and delays in the games. I feel really disappointed about the poor game performance of this phone because I was told that this phone is currently the best phone that ever made by Samsung. 

Therefore, I really hope that more and more users can complain the similar cases or situation to Samsung to force them to execute a recall program or free phone checkup to solve such issues. Again, the two biggest issues of my S21 Ultra are:

• Overheating During Video Call
• Poor Performance due to Lowered Screen Refresh Rate/Frame Rate in Mobile Games

Same here but on Samsung Galaxy S21 5g , NOT Ultra (Exynos 2100). Very bad gaming because of refresh rate problems and OVERHEATING. The most recent updates installed. Even on low games like Brawl Stars the phone does overheat after 10-15 minutes of gameplay. Moreover games ,like PUBG: New state , run on low settings and again OVERHEAT and FPS drops. I was told that this phone could run all games on maxs settings. Very bad. Please reply.

Same here. Play game phone will get hot. Video call less than 10mins overheat with warning sign and phone auto off due to secure heat protection.

Gonna Bring to SC this Wednesday. Not sure they can fix it or not. Left 2 months warranty
