After I perform system software update (SM-S906E/DS S906EXXU2AVF9) last week (July 16), the next day, I have encountered the following issues:

- Always on 'cable charging' mode even when using the samsung original 25 Watt Charger (Charging mode should be 'Super Fast Charging' at this point). I tried to replace the cable, tried using other charger and cable from other units, and even tried to toggle on/off the Super Fast Charging via Settings but had the same results.

- Tried connecting to a laptop via USB 3.0 and 2.0 but it does not recognize my device and no USB Mass Storage (MTP Mode) appearing in my laptop drive. In my S22+, it only indicate Cable Charging and no USB settings notification. I tried to dial *#0808#, and force the MTP but same issue

- Tried to turn ON the USB Debugging Mode, the adb cannot detect my S22+, but in wireless debugging mode, it can detect

- Tried to clear data and cache of USB Application but no luck

- Tried using the safe mode but got same result

- Tried to perform factory reset but got the same result

- Tried to clean the USB port. I check my phone and found no defects nor dirt (just used my phone for 3 months after purchase)

- Tried to consult Samsung Service Center. They've performed the same basic troubleshooting I have done before and nothing worked. They offered to fix the phone which will take 3-5 days but I must have a backup for all my phone data

I am assuming that the last update broke the USB Data Transmission, since charger uses USB PD, it sends data signal to charger to operate on higher wattages, and since there are also no response when connected to a laptop, I think that the S22+ does not send any signal to the laptop that an android device is connected

It's probably a software issue.

Same issue related I have found at Samsung community related to latest system update:

Anyone else encountered the same issue? Thank you.
