Hello

I purchased an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and it seems to originally be from South Korea. Everything works well but it won't connect to the Telstra network. I've tried to reset mobile network settings and factory reset but still won't connect. If I go to SIM status, it just says Limited Service and under Mobile network state, it says disconnected.

Any assistance would be helpful as this is a new phone and don't want it to be wasted :(

Thanks!

I know you said it's unlocked, but it really sounds like it could be network locked. Have you tried friends' sim cards who are on other networks?

If you open Settings-> About Phone-> Software information and then scroll down to "Service Provider Software Version," what is listed underneath?
If it's really an unlocked model, it should show multiple KOO entries.
Also, the the Korean S22U model name is SM-S908N. Is this what you have?

The other thing you can try is enter Connections-> Mobile Networks-> Access Point Names and check the APN info, and make sure it's correct for Telstra and enabled.

While in this setting, you can also try tapping the 3 dots in the top right and select Reset to default.

Hope this is helpful.

Yes, you have the same problem as me. I bought a Korean version of Samsung S22 Ultra, unlocked and official in my country, but suddenly I can't use my country's local network, I've done everything and nothing works, I've contacted the local operator and they said the network is normal, the problem is with the cellphone :(
