**bleep** samsung. They are limiting the device performance using GOS. The actual performance of this S22 Ultra is almost 50% lower than what they advertised. Too slow, yet still too hot.

I honestly haven't experienced any unstable fps while playing wildrift and codm on high to very high graphic settings. With regards to heat management, it has been decent and even better than what I had expected when playing for 30-45 mins.

P.S. This is for both pre and post GOS.

Only issue I've been having is the fast battery consumption when using the camera.

S22 Ultra, Snapdragon.

We're the same. I dont experience performance issue in wildrift and other "light" games. We should not experience that in light games. I mean some mid-heavy games such as PUBGM, WoTB(low option). They runs really well in my device released in 2020. Not a optimization issue, but GOS issue.

Codm isn't considered as "light" though. But I haven't experienced either fps drops/flactuations nor heating issues.

Plus, even my former iPhone performed worse when most reviews shows that they can handle better when it comes to gaming in comparison with former Samsung phones.

Like I said, I've experienced both pre and post GOS. Irdk, but your experience might be an isolated case.

None taken. Hehe. And I'm just sharing my experiences thus far. Just to be clear, I am not disregarding your experience(s) nor others. That's why as per my last comment, I said it might be an isolated case.

iPhone 11 Pro.

Really? It seems to have been quite quiet after their mobile division's head apology and people are even already looking forward for Samsung's plan on releasing a rollable phone and their flip and fold 4s.

Yea me too. I can't understand why GOS is not being a issue in overseas. Samsung fooled the customers. Their stock price dropped so hard.

Their mobile division head apologized. Yes. But that was toward their employees but no customers.
Idk if what will happen to samsung's sales in their next products. I just really want samsung to wake up and bring back their image.

Well let's all be honest, all brands has their own version of GOS.

The main issue here are all chip makers make faster chips every year, but not battery efficient. Add the factor that the trend for devices right now are "thinner is better". Battery and heat dispersion technology needs to catch up if we want the issue to be truly address.

Phone makers are forced to control the performance of their devices to avoid overheat and lasting damage on the device. People call it a limiting feature, but brand manufacturers call it safety measure.

So it's up to us users to think about it. Would you prefer any device (even non Samsung brand) that uses all it's full chip power. But overheats and lags within seconds because it can't match the power demand. Or do we prefer the ongoing trend for all brands of having a safety net like GOS on their devices to keep in from overheating and draining too fast. 🤔
