**bleep** samsung. They are limiting the device performance using GOS. The actual performance of this S22 Ultra is almost 50% lower than what they advertised. Too slow, yet still too hot.

All brands got their performance management apps. But samsung got the list of most of the apps(games) to control the performance yet GEEKBENCH was not included there. We thought that s22u geekbench score was 1200, but when we changed the package name of the geekbench into "genshin", the single core decreased into 600 points.

Well that is sadly absolutely true.

But again nearly all brands (Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Huawei) are being removed in the geekbench due to the same reason. Even Apple had an OS update that slowed down their devices. It's a wide spread issue on the smart phone industry.

Again the issue is chip makers keep on releasing "faster" chips, but battery and heat dispersion technology isn't coping up that fast. Hopefully that the technology can cope up in the future.

I'm truely saying. Gaming performance of s22u is just poor. No better than past snapdragon 865.

Samsung got GOS, but it's still overheating and battery drains fast.

1. Removing heat pipes witht the name of "cost reduction.

2. Deceiving customers with 'fake' specs.

3. Still no action detected in samsung such as recall or compensation.

4. Removed from geekbench list due to score cheating

I was fan of samsung. My devices were all samsung until now(s22u). But samsung disappointed too much nowadays.

The GOS issue has been addressed with the March Security patch. You can disable/enable it within Game Launcher.

No. They just re-opened the 3rd party bypass. Samsung CAN'T remove the GOS since they designed their cooling system assuming that they'll be using GOS. The option in game launcher is not turning on/off GOS.
