Samsung keyboard no longer has voice button in toolbar

Since the recent update the Samsung keyboard no longer has an option to have a button to start voice keyboard in the toolbar. In fact there doesn't seem to be an option to choose what buttons are in the toolbar. Some people actually need to use voice keyboard and the normal keyboard to get things to work and this is very annoying. Why is Samsung doing things to make life harder in terms of usability

One thing to check which I haven"t done because I don't want to change. Under Settings,searched for Keyboard, then Samsung , way down the long list of options I found oice input, opened it and had a list with 3 options
1. Samsung voice input
2. Google voice typing
3. None
If google voice typing is available it might be an acceptable alternative if in your settings samsung voice input isn't available

I mean the actual function is still there but the button on the toolbar disappeared. You used to be able to add the button to the toolbar for easy access now you have to change the whole input method which means you probably lose focus on the text box and the screen jumps around while resizing the keyboard on and off

I mean it just seems one of these UI things that Samsung randomly does for no reason and no testing. They don't seem to have a proper test suite to make sure functionality is not broken, they seem to work like the 2000s where every programmer just does whatever they want. And this programmer did not use voice input I guess

Go to settings and search for Keyboard List. Turn on what I pointed

Thanks I already have that turned on. It's the button inside the Samsung keyboard toolbar that has disappeared that was actually useful

Yeah they've replaced it to this method. It's the same function. It hasn't disappeared.

It is now at the bottom left.

The voice button is now a dedicated button, which is good.

Thanks I have found it now. Interestingly the reason I didn't see it before is because since the latest firmware update I can't see anything on my screen because it is so dark
