Galaxy S
Hello,
I'm interested in using Samsung Wallet for the first time. I purchased my phone while in Germany, but I recently relocated to Canada. When attempting to use the app, I am being prompted to apply for a card from a German bank, which requires a German address, but I no longer have one. There's also other legal issues, so i can't apply for the card.
What steps should I take to resolve this issue? Is it possible to change the country in my Samsung Wallet?
Thanks!

Hi MKoch. Samsung Wallet has been country-locked since the days of Samsung Pay. Meaning you can only use Samsung Wallet in the country that you bought the phone from.
One potential work-around is if you own a Galaxy Watch that you bought in the country you are currently in (i.e. Canadian set). You will be able to use Samsung Wallet on the watch, and you can track and view your points on your Galaxy phone via the Samsung Wallet plug-in for your Galaxy Watch.
Otherwise, your next best alternative will be to use Google Pay.

Hey, u may want to try this. But I cannot guarantee that it will work. Looks like a new feature implemented this year only.
Do note that u can only change the region/country once every 6 months and once u change to another region/country, all the mentioned data, including Samsung Reward points in the link will be erased.

I think yes you can. Just that you run the risk of resetting your phone to factory settings. Same for good lock. For example, I bought msia tablet and i set it to sg and I could use it. I tried resetting and set to msia, boom, good locks isnt applicable.
