Galaxy SI did purchase the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus last year on 1st November 2020. I did have care plus plan which got expired on last 8th November 2021.
Suddenly today WITHOUT any physical or liquid damage my display got one vertical green line right in the middle of my display. I did some research and find out that this is not just me lots of your customers are facing this same issue.
https://r1.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-s/vertical-green-line-samsung-s20/td-p/13329575
I did visit a nearby Samsung store they told me it's a Display issue and you need to visit the service center in order to get it fixed. Also, your phone is out of warranty you need to pay for the cost of the repair made.
In the first place, Why should the end customer pay for this fault which does occur because of your hardware issue?? Why should even someone purchase these Samsung phones if it has such a huge issue with its display which costs much much more???
Need immediate assistance on how to deal with this issue? As this issue is a genuine issue in your hardware build what does Samsung has provision for the same?

Galaxy SMy S20+ phone is 20 months old and yesterday developed this green vertical line. After reading all the complaints online and checking with the local service person, it is understood that majority of the S20+ mobile phones after warranty are developing this problem. Rather than going to the and getting the screen replaced, I would prefer to not buy this samsung phone ever in my life and advice my friends never to buy Samsung products.

Galaxy SVertical green line developed on my screen yesterday.
There's been no history of any kind of damge on this device. I just updated the device as was pushed to update to fix the issues
But suddenly that happened. Totally disappointed. I have been using samsung for 10 years. But this occurrence just disappointed me.
Samsung needs to fix this asap.

Galaxy SI purchased my mobile samsung s20+ on march 2020 today the green line has come by its own without any physical fall or so. What can be done to fix this issue in my phone. How these type of issue raiee automatically for a high end S series mobile of samsung. This is not tolerated for the amount we have spent for purchase.

Galaxy Sthis is very alarming, my phone just started showing a pink vertical line, barely visible at the moment, im afraid that my phone's going to get a big vertical line soon. purchased date was march 2020, saw the line just few days ago on a bright white screen.

Galaxy SBought my s20+ 9 months ago and today it has 2 green lines. The first one appeared last month. Same story as many of you that I have to have it repaired and shoulder the cost myself. It’s **bleep**! Stupid samsung

Galaxy SThe line just appeared 2 weeks ago, no physical damage. I brought my phone to a samsung store, trade in value is just 1,540PhP.
I've been a loyal samsung user but seems like all models they released after the s7 edge are not durable anymore. I got a note8 after my s7 edge, my note8 just stopped receiving calls and messages so I need to restart every 2 hours. Replaced it with this s20+, then this annoying green line appeared out of nowhere. Might shift back to iPhone now. 😪
