Hi all, I am currently using the Samsung s21 ultra for 7 months now. The cellular network keeps dropping each time the bar falls to 3 levels or below. It goes on more frequently after the phone has been updated in the last 3 software updates.

This is very disruptive to the user.

On the other hand, my other iPhone 12 has stable cellular network. It is the same phone network as the Samsung.

Please fix it Samsung. Don't fix something that wasn't broken. This breaks the user experience...

You can do a master reset to factory settings. Which I use to do after 1 year or 2.

Hello BenYANG. I am Faiz, from Samsung.

We're sorry to learn of your experience with your Galaxy S21 Ultra. Rest assured we will provide you with the best solution to resolve your issue. You may follow the below steps in order to narrow down the root cause of the issue :

Step 1 : Reset the SIM card
>> Try to remove, then reinsert the SIM card.

Step 2 : Try using a different SIM card in your mobile device to check if the same issue persists.

Step 3 : Reset Settings.
Resetting network settings reset all data connections back to the out of the box factory defaults. The following changes will occur by performing a Reset of network settings.

*Stored Wi-Fi networks will be deleted.
*Paired Bluetooth devices will be deleted.
*Background data sync settings will be turned on.
*Data restrictive settings in applications that were manually turned
on/off by the customer will be reset to the default setting.
*Network selection mode will be set to automatic.

To perform a Network reset, follow these steps.

>> Go to Settings
>> Tap General management
>> Now select Reset and Reset settings.

If the issue persist, we would like to propose the Smart Tutor. The advantage is, we will be able to assist you with further troubleshooting over the call. Please call our Samsung Care Line 1800-726-7864 regarding this service. Our experts at Samsung Care Line will advise and assist you in details.

Thank you.

Thanks for your assistance above. We know you are doing your job. We are a group of very loyal Samsung users who know what to do. The reminders are very much appreciated. We have also completed them

Since all users above faced similar issues, shouldn't Samsung look into it? Happy to post in video on YouTube too.

All users, changing your network from 5g > 3G/2G seems to bring more stability. Using same Sim card, Same network setting which I did not meddle with since I bought the phone and only factor changed is probably Samsung updates and Singtel 5G network. Both will blame each other without much progress or resolution... 😅

For now, 3g/2g network yields better stability. Unfortunately this is a more sophisticated phone that should have lte at minimum... Issues there with lte and 5g for sure. 😊

Maybe consumer test firmware better than telco test. Telco test firnware, delay firmware release and still not stable...

Weird things is, I used 3-4 phones 2 iPhone and 2 Samsung. S8+ and Note 10+. Singtel on s8+ very stable, the new singtel line on 10+ can go offline anytime. Where m1 on iPhone XS max is the best, even on iPhone 7+ also very good.

Does it mean switch to service provider getting the correct phone maybe a good buy?
