For a few months now my mobile data has been slow/cutting out but as of late it's nearly unusable. I go from 5g, 4g to h+ then go to a no service cross, rinse repeat but not in that particular order but it usually is. I have found that if I go to aeroplane mode and then turn it off it will reset the cycle then every few minutes drop down again. I've tried the usual network reset, new sim, factory reset, software update so im wondering if anyone has/had this issue and if anyone knows of a fix? TIA

My S21 ultra works fine in 4G, my sim wouldn't allow 5G.🙃

Have you tried locking it to 4G and lower? If 5G is borderline and your phone is switching frequently between 4G and 5G it can drop out frequently. Some causes, bandwidth overload from other users, distance from cell tower noting 5G has much less coverage than 4G. Load Aus Phone Towers and use options to select features like your ISP, 4G versus 5G coverage, etc.If it is a question of signal strength to cell tower consider an interal aerial in window facing cell tower, mine cost $80. If really important consider external aerial high spot, possibly on tv mast. My Optus wireless internet which uses Optus cell tower ranges from 0, yes really, to 100 Mbps, mostly around 30 to 60.
