Galaxy S
I've always been a Pixel user, but I recently switched to the Samsung S25 Ultra. I drive a 2022 Toyota RAV4 and use Carlink to connect Android Auto wirelessly.
With my Pixel, Android Auto worked flawlessly. However, with the S25 Ultra, while it connects and loads quickly, it soon starts to slow down. Opening apps takes at least 10 seconds, and Google Maps updates very slowly—there’s about a 10-second delay, so even after I’ve passed a roundabout, it still shows me approaching it.
I’ve already tried setting Android Auto to have unrestricted battery access, but that didn’t help.
When I connect via cable, everything runs smoothly, but I prefer the wireless setup for convenience. Plus, with Carlink, the resolution is better, displaying more information on the screen. When using a wired connection, everything appears larger, which means less information is shown at once.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, or found a fix for it?
