Galaxy SSamsung's current notification system is flawed. When you download apps like Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, or WhatsApp, they should come with their own app-provided default notification sound—just like they do on other platforms. Instead, Samsung forces all apps to use the same generic sound unless the user manually changes them.
This turns notifications into a guessing game. You hear a sound, but you have no idea if it’s a message, a social media update, or something else entirely. It’s frustrating and unnecessary.
Samsung needs to fix this by allowing apps to retain their own default sounds upon installation. Users shouldn’t have to dig through settings just to make notifications distinguishable. It's a simple change that would greatly improve the user experience.
