Samsung Smart Call feature not working?

I keep receiving spam calls but Smart Call looks like isn't working and it didn't appeared when it rings. I have the "Called ID and Spam protection" feature on. I thibk is there need of an update to the Phone app or I should go for other phone dialer app such as the "Phone by Google"?
