Galaxy SWell, it may well be related to even software updates aside from hardware.

Hope Samsung will take action on this. Reckon more & more users will be affected by these vertical line issues on their phone screens. Or maybe we can just tentatively stop all the firmware updates for a while until the issues are resolved by Samsung? If not, will consider to boycott all Samsung mobile products & change my phone to other brands. It is very disappointing that Samsumg still keep mum on this issues to date.... I have been a Samsung loyal fans since I start using Samsung Note 2....

Problem is there will always be a die hard samsung consumer that finds it hard / hassle to transition to another manufacturer or eco system. Lol.

Hi,
This is due to Samsung not having to check for certain hardware in the device to work properly with the software such that the device may experience long term problems. Fortunately this could be covered with warranty or submitting this feedback to Samsung will solve this issue. Hopefully Samsung can change this for new phones. I'm also sorry for those who suffered from this. But take note the article also involves Oppo, Apple and Vivo (Not sure but stated).
Hope this helps!
