Hello guys,
Just get my hands on the new S25.
Is it normal that screen protectors are not compatible with the ultrasonic sensors?
Ive never had this issues with my galaxy A55 though.

Hi @hadifahmy,
Yes this is a common concern, and there are a few reasons why:
- Mini air gaps / dust / other foreign object in between;
- Screen protector material blocks signals between finger and screen;
Hope this helps!

From what i've read, most screen protectors are not compatible with ultrasonic sensors. You may need to make do without them. Btw, the A55s doesn't come with ultrasonic sensors, they're optical sensors.

Perhaps you may want to use the original screen protector from Samsung.

There's a screen protector (third-party) that supports the fingerprint reader, even without needing to adjust the touch sensitivity.
For safe and reliable use, use a Samsung brand or official screen protector. If using a third-party protector, it is advisable to ask the seller and read the product description; the seller will usually mention whether it supports the fingerprint reader or not. This is based on my experience.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Sure, below is the link I used.
1. It comes with clear, matte, and privacy options. I used matte and it was wonderful. Matte is hard to find. However, it only comes in one unit, so careful installation is needed.

2. Currently used, but just clear type.
Click on the link and head over to the new Senheng App to check out this deal: https://senheng.app.link/YWKO0CBwNRb
Both screen protectors are great and support fingerprint recognition. But I do love the matte one.
