Just installed the 10g broadband by Singtel.
I ran the speed test and found my S23 Ultra
came out as less than 100 where else my daughter wifi speed is much higher.
BTW the router is wifi 7 able. I know samsung has lock the wifi 7 ability but why is my S23 Ultra wifi performance is so bad.
Anybody has this issue?

S23 Ultra does not support WiFi 7. S24 series may have the chance to feature WiFi 7 ready support. Your S23 Ultra can support WiFi 6/6e.

Check if your router is auto switching between the slow 2.4ghz and the faster 5 or 6ghz network band by using the mysingtel app.

There's a manage wifi button at around the end of the page. Click on that, and then manage wifi settings. Click on the checkbox that allow Singtel to view and manage wifi settings. After that click on the router name and then proceed. You'll see if the router does auto switch wifi bands and if it does, switch it off.

You'll now have the option to rename both fast and slow wifi bands to prevent confusion and will force the device to lock on to the faster wifi band.

You can also check for firmware updates for the router and the ONT/ONR, this may improve network speeds.1705175754049.jpg

This is the speeds on my Singtel 1+1Gbps fibre broadband. I wouldn't say its the fastest (given that their network equipment isn't really that fast) but is way faster then previously, where it's only around 300mbps before a firmware update, where it improved speeds.1705175998818.jpg

Tried all as you mentioned, and it's still the same. The lowest result is 16.6 download and 5.27 upload.
The highest downloads are 61.3 and 12.5 upload.

Hmm.. from the speed test results u shared, this is equivalent to average 4G speed, even worse than cable broadband speed back in the days.

Is it possible to call back Singtel to ask the technician to take a look? Since u are paying a premium price for it and you are not getting even the most basic 1 Gbps broadband plan.

OK, thanks, guys. Managed to solve the problem.
Just go to the phone settings, under general management, and click on reset wifi. Now it's all good. At wifi 6E, upload and download is around 1 G.
