Last day of August and still Samsung didn't release the August security patch in Galaxy S22 Ultra in Australia. Wake-up if you missed it.

I'd say it's due to a number of things, recent product launch, One UI beta program etc.

Also, the August update is pretty massive for the S22U, at over 2GB, so this could be another reason for it being late (carrier/regional testing).
This is also brings One UI 5.1.1

Rest of the world it is already released on time. Why not here ? They should be prompt at least for the premium models. The reason for the post is as always Australia is the last for everything. Always ignored.

For countries where the SM-S908E is sold, and more importantly part of the OXM group, I only see a few that have the update.

Also, it looks like Australia may get a slightly newer build.
Our regional neighbours with the update, have build CHW3.
Currently being tested for Australia looks to be getting build DWH8, and our neighbours are also testing this build.

Perhaps issues were found?

As I said, this isn't a regular monthly update, this is a 2GB plus update with One UI 5.1.1 apparently.

June or July?

Has it been that long since an update for the S22U?

I'm going to assume bugs were found, when our regional neighbours with the same device are testing the same build as Aus, even though some of them already got the August update.

As an example, Thailand. Screenshot_20230831_174910_CheckFirm_1000013007_1693468150.png

This shows Australia carriers are not testing proactively and is kind of wait and watch situation at neighbours and waiting for Samsung to fix it and then finally releasing it. Sounds the same like peeping tom. No use of the brain just copy and paste methodology.

Hi Dolgogi. Finally I received the August security patch today. Same as we discussed, it was a 2.3 GB plus size. But as you said it's a one ui version update to 5.1.1 is actually not the case. Post update still it shows one ui 5.1. Can you please clarify and shed some light on it ?
