Smart lock missing S23

Since upgrading from an S20 to an S23 this week I have found that the smart lock feature isn't working. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

Also is there a way to put in your pin to unlock without having to press OK afterward?

I have an S23 FE, in my case it is under Settings, Lock screen. And working. Can't help on pin unlock problem.
