I am always wondering why the software updates come very late??
For instance my Galaxy S20 plus hasn't received yet android 13 one ui 5.0.
Even though many other phone makers as Google, oppo, xiaomi and others have already sent the updates out to their flagship devices???

Hi @mohamedgad Samsung is working to finalise their beta program for A13 and One UI 5.

Samsung has announced that it will start rolling out to devices by the end of October, but there is no official roll out info yet, other than the S22 series will be first to get it.

Please keep in mind, Google own Android so obviously their devices will start getting it first.

Samsung also adds a number of features for their phones in Android and via One UI so this can take a bit more time than other companies.

Edit: October rollout may not apply to all regions/countries, some may start to see it from November.

Samsung is currently one of the best (if not the best at least for flagships) when rolling out monthly security updates. Sometimes, they even release patches before Google.

But yeah, in terms of major updates like Android 13, I think we can all agree that it's better for them not to rush it than rolling a buggy software.

Personally imho, I think timely security patches is way important than new version updates.

Australia being small continent. We receive updates later than other much bigger countries
