I used to have a Galaxy S8 that just died on me some time in 2020. I got the G R E E N S C R E E N O F D E A T H after an update.
Photo not mine, but this is exactly what happened.
Took it to the service center, they told me it was a screen issue and was charging me *an absurd amount* for a screen replacement. I didn't want to pay so i just upgraded to the N20.
Looks good as new
I kept the phone, still trying once in a while to charge it, turn it on, try different things i find online.
Fastforward to today, I saw it an decided to charge it again, do the whole shebang. When i turned it on, boom. It was suddenly working like a charm. Still smooth af.
So. Ayun. Screen issues pala ah? 🤣
