Galaxy SAs the title suggests, I am very disappointed with the phone, and with Samsung.
I got my new phone back in April 2021, and barely 2 months down the line I faced a black screen issue. Have tried the steps as recommended by Samsung mod on fixing the issues, but none work. This is a phone without significant exposure to places beyond the house, have not been dropped or damaged, and not used as heavily as one expects a flagship be built to handle.
And so happen it coincided with the MCO - service centres were not operating and the customers obviously could not go great distances to visit their few operating branches. Now the centres have reopened, and the above lost time on warranty was shared with the customer service officer, as well as concerns over the current worsening and unpredictable state of the pandemic. Are there any compensation on the lost warranty period? All I got for an answer was, well, now our centres are opened, so you can head over to fix it - wow, hearing this as a concerned customer, from a company as big and established as Samsung.
Which brings me to another point - I paid this flagship price for a flagship performing phone, not something that will give up on me completely unannounced, no clues or indicators of such, one morning after barely 2 months of use. This is incredibly disappointing. No damage, controlled usage, as I was splitting usage with a 3-year-old non-Samsung flagship that have not shown a single issue and costs almost half the price. In comparison, this Samsung performance is unacceptable. One search online showed so many same issues faced by many many customers.
What will happen then after I am able to send for servicing? Will Samsung give customers alternative solutions? This has painted the model as such an unreliable phone, customers will have distrust that it wont have repeated occurrence or another problem popping up.
As a new Samsung user, this has really dampened my interest in the brand.

Galaxy SS21 also he issue with the screen it seems. Just sent my s20 ultra to the service center due to green screen problem.
You are fortunate since yours still under warranty. Some of us using s20 ultra having screen issue after using it for a year, which is passed the warranty period.
Seems like their *ultra isn't living up to the name.
