Galaxy SBoth my Samsung S23 Ultra and my wife's Samsung S23 Plus are having issues with Wi-Fi Calling. If we leave my house, then Wi-Fi Calling disconnect (which does happen when out of my routers area) but when we return home the Wi-Fi Calling will not reconnect at all. This appears to have happened after the last system update that was performed. Has anyone else had this issue. I have to turn on airplane mode, disconnect Wi-Fi Calling and then turn off Airplane mode, turn on Wi-Fi as well as turn on Wi-Fi calling. Sometimes it just disconnects for no reason. Anyone else having issues with this as Wi-Fi calling is our best means of being able to take and make phone calls due to very poor signal strength where we are?

Galaxy SSecond, be aware that when updates occur they can change settings, in addition the cache may have some instructions left in which conflict with the new settings, see below.
One thought, have you got Auto-Connect on in your wi-fi network settings?
So, things to do:
1. Your phones connect with the cell tower using Access Point Names (APN). To check these Google e.g. Telstra APN 5G settings. Note these down very carefully 100% correctly including spaces. Next on phones go to Settings and use search option for "Access Point Names" in full. Note these on paper, also 100%, in case you want to revert. Compare, make changes, restart.
2. Cache problem. Note this action will cause settings in particular apps to be deleted, so first, ensure settings for phone numbers, contacts and messages have Google as the primary store for these. If in doubt. back up, Settings, search to Backup and backup to both Samsung and Google so you can restore if necessary. Then Settings, Apps, search for Phone, Storage, clear cache and probably data. Restart.
3 Unlikely here but do it. Go to Settings, Connections, Wi-fi, 3 dots top right (ensure you have the wi-fi password), Advanced, delete the wi-fi network. Re-enter it. Restart (sometimes wi-fi settings get corrupted but this usually stops the wi-fi network working, so not essential here).
Yesterday it occurred to me thaf the phone app includes on obligatory use of other apps which might need cache clearing, but not worth the hassle (found by searching for permissions).

Galaxy STroubadour,
Thanks for these suggestions. We are not with Telstra but Optus so I am unable to do the first option.
There was an update that I applied late last night, just need to go out to see if this worked. If this did not then I will try your other 2 suggestions. Many thanks.
