Galaxy Z
In continuation of my previous post: https://r1.community.samsung.com/t5/galaxy-fold/should-i/td-p/26333704?src=ShareByUserCM

Being one of the Samsung Members Stars, I was given the privilege to try the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Yes, Samsung lent me a device to use and explore. Before using the Galaxy Z Fold 5, I was using the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which will be my point of comparison.
If you are contemplating getting the S23 Ultra or the Z Fold 5 (considering you have the budget for both phones), here are additional insights.
User Experience – I am having a more pleasant experience using the Z Fold 5 in day-to-day use. The ability to switch between the cover screen and the main screen depending on how I am using a particular app is such a convenience.
Performance – It is on par with the S23 Ultra as they have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. It doesn’t stutter at all. It also doesn’t heat up much even while gaming on a 5G connection.
Camera – While the Z Fold 5 captures wonderful photos in bright settings, the S23 Ultra’s camera quality is better, especially in low light and video recording.
It’s really just a matter of personal preference. If you are outgoing and fond of taking pictures/videos, the S Ultra would be a better fit. It’s obviously sturdier than the Fold and takes better photos/videos. On the other hand, if you are a home/office buddy and don’t have many outdoor activities, the Z Fold offers productivity that you can leverage in your daily routines.
So the question again is, does using this Z Fold 5 make me decide to switch to a foldable phone?

Not quite. It’s tough to let go of the S Ultra’s camera. But, if the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 would come in with the same chip as the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the same camera quality even without the zoom lens, then I think that will seal the deal for me.

Galaxy Z
But in performance, only heats up a bit when I play heavy games like FL84 (S23+)
