Do Not Disturb has bugged out after a phone update.

Everything works but apps that are listed in the exception.

I have security camera app and app for work on the exception to give me notifications and now they come in silent, no sound, just in notification area.

I have reset settings and apps, including reinstalling, nothing else works.

The only thing left would be factory reset, but that's too much of a hassle to test, but I think I found at one point that issues like this have occurred and people said FR doesn't actually usually work.

That security app giving me notifications saved my house break in attempt last year in October, so my frustrations are high.

While I can just keep DND off, it disturbs my partner and my own sleep.

Samsung support wanted FR.

Although there are a few silly apps on this topic I suggest looking at a few of the do not disturb apps in Play Store

Interesting 🤔 would have thought no point in an app if it's built in. I shall look.

Thanks for reaching out. I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analysed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.

To send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Support > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

I thought I would add that now my Partners S22 and my S7 Tablet is having the same issues with DND and app exceptions... So it's not isolated to my Fold4 and affects more than 1 device, device type and person

Hi Chris. Did you ever get this issue resolved. My 23 ultra is now doing the same with my security camera app and I have tried everything except the FR

They are blaming user error/app error but it affects other apps in my phone now and all related to recent updates at the time.

I was hoping the One UI 5.1.1 that recently came out would resolve it, but it didnt.

FR does not resolve it so don't bother.

It's typical Helpdesk issues. If they break something, it has to affect enough people to respond, otherwise it's "isolated" and therefore the users problem.

If you send the debug report as mentioned above, then maybe that will help, but don't hold your breath.

Hopefully enough people report it because it's a huge pain to have to leave my phone off DND to get the security notifications but then get woken by any other notifications that come through. Thanks for the heads up with FR, wasn't something I wad keen to try if it wasn't going to work
