Fold 3 Flip Cover Turning Display Off Setting

Hi,

Is there a way with this case to allow it to turn the display off when it's cover is closed?

I have looked through the phones settings numerous times but cannot find a setting for this.

Hi @SteveH007, that is strange. The flip cover should trigger the screen to turn off while closed. 

Please send through an error report via the Samsung Members app. 

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

Simply it does not give no error message at all, it keep the screen on always!!!

That's causing many issues, as the ph keep opining many Apps, or call numbers while I'm thinking the screen is off!!!!!

One more question please, how & were do u turn on the cover once u open it to turn the screen on in the setting??
Could that be the same to use to turn screen on & off by the cover opening & closing!??

Hi @SteveH007, the screen should automatically turn off when the cover is closed, hence I suggest sending an error report for our team to look into. 

Error reports send log data to our team that may help us identify why your screen is staying on.
