HELP! USB debugging is on but still can't read sd card adaptor

Hi, i have samsung flip 4 and i just bought an adaptor to transfer my photos from my digital camera to my phone but the adaptor doesn't work and it drives me so crazy!!! I tried it on my partner's google pixel phone and it works fine! Please someone help! Usb config is transfer file but i also tried other options as well and still not working

It's the adaptor, try a different adaptor. I've experienced the same.

Yeah also experienced it, I had to try a different adapter as well and it worked
