Samsung Fold 5 – No Calls or SMS After One UI 7 Update

After updating to One UI 7 on my Fold 5, I can no longer receive phone calls or SMS, though mobile data still works. I’ve tried all the usual fixes—restarts, flight mode toggle, network reset—but nothing helped. I moved the SIM to another phone and it worked fine, confirming the issue is with the Fold 5 itself.

Samsung support shared this is a known issue affecting many users and simply told me to wait for a future update. Honestly, what kind of solution is that? I’m left without basic phone functions and feel completely frustrated and helpless.

Anyone else facing this? Any workarounds?

You can try the following to see if it works. I had a similar problem about 2 years back on my Note20 Ultra (no call & sms but mobile data/wifi is ok):

1) Take out SIM card and clean (use a clean cloth to rub against the metallic portion).

2) Switch to non-5G mobile network.

why here i was trying to get a better network using the wifi but is bad breaking
