Gadgets nowadays are so smart it's like having our own PA (Personal Assistant) wherever, whenever. Technology has improved so much that a lot of us depend heavily on our phones not just for entertainment, but also for day-to-day needs. While there are downsides to having reliance on our devices, it is also undeniable that with proper use, these machines aid productivity.

Tons of apps that claim to boost productivity are available for downloading. But the question is: are these really needed in order to be productive? Personally, I say no. At the end of the day, it boils down to the person. Here are some productivity hacks that might help you out:

1. Settings
Samsung phones come packed with settings that help automate mundane tasks and lessen manual intervention. For example, enabling Adaptive Brightness will ensure the screen's visibility is at a comfortable level regardless of lighting conditions. No need to swipe left or right every now and then to adjust the brightness level!

Some useful settings are buried deep and may not be highlighted all the time, so allot time and effort in researching and reviewing a particular unit's configuration.

2. Layout
Organization is key - when the arrangement is based on the most frequently used apps, spending time scrolling through the app drawer or typing an application's name in the search bar will be eliminated. The initial hurdle is setting up, but once it's done and the device is in its optimal layout, I promise there's no looking back!

3. Widgets
I personally don't use it a lot, however I do find the stack feature quite handy as it keeps my home screen clean. Not too sure which widget to use? Try Smart Suggestions - it will recommend apps and actions based on device usage.

Agree with #2! One of the first things I do when I get a new device is set up my app folders. I'm still a Windows user at heart and want all my programs and files in neat folders ♥
