Galaxy Z
Samsung, unfortunately, does this to its customers. Before providing the new unit, I understand that Samsung will scrutinize the old units. However, when an old unit is perfectly fine, they resort to this horrible scheme. They claimed that I declared the wrong unit and wanted me to pay an additional amount of PHP 14,000. Let me state my points where Samsung is clearly defrauding its customers:
1. It was Samsung who started processing my purchase because I sought help first, and I continued where they started.
2. I am swapping my third Samsung Z Flip, although this is my first time swapping an old unit for a new unit.
3. They asked for the IMEI, which I believe defines the specific unit you are referring to.
4. When you declare the IMEI, the name of the model is next to it. There is no way you will mistake it for another unit.
Now that I have canceled all of my orders, a customer representative called to tell me that my money amounting to PHP 50,000 can be refunded within 10 to 15 working days!
Additionally, I was informed by the Samsung personnel that Samsung permits its customers to pay for the front face of the Samsung Z Flip during inspections that are not functioning without telling its Customers that it is simply turned off.
What a fraud, Samsung! This will be reported to the NTC.
