Flip 6 Glitch before and after update

Before I update my flip 6, my phone kept on restarting. After the update, it went back to normal but few days after, the screen is now glitching when flipped and the phone is restarting or will just go black and cannot be shut down. I have restarted my phone several times and even removed third party widgets but the phone is still glitching when i flip/open it.

Hey RnceRdeo,

Are you still stuck on a bootloop? It might be wise to bring your device to a Samsung Service Center near you to see what's going on. A bootloop usually indicates corrupt app files, faulty installs, viruses, malware, or broken system files. 

Let me know if you have an update for us!

No longer in the bootloop but still experiencing glitch. I just update my phone again today, hoping that it would resolve the issue but the glitch is still there even after the update.

Back up your data and try to do a factory reset. If problems persist after that, bring it to the nearest service center.

Update : glitching worsen after factory reset 😭 i hope samsung will replace my unit with a new one instead of repair as I'm afraid that future defects show eventually, if this will only be repaired. Simply put, repairing it will just be a band aid solution and would not hinder or guarantee that no further defects of issues will be experienced.

Update : The whole screen now glitches and I can no longer use my phone as I could no longer see what's on the display screen. I just hope samsung will handle this issue with grace and replace the unit immediately. Update: Brought my phone to a service center. I was informed that replacement is no longer an option. Their policy is 7days replacement. Since the phone is more than 7days old, they will only repair it despite the problem being a factory defect. Which is pretty much disappointing as the phone cost almost 80k and is the latest model yet it is being treated like this. I was assured by the service agent that they will do an overall assesment of the phone to make sure all problems will be taken care of. Kudos for her service but this does not really assure me that future problems will not persist because of the factory defect and it kinda scares me that issues and problems like this will show again by the time warranty is expired. I hope samsung will have a better policy when it comes to issues like this. This is an only in the PH problem as I know that for other countries, they replace the unit immediately. #SamsungNotPROCustomer #Dissapointment #ZFlip6 #NeverAgain

Same case for me. Really disappointing.... also raised the same issues you raised...

And I had to reinstall everything again...

Really bad customer experience..
